Attractions at Mona:
- A program of speakers including: 666 ABC radio’s gardening guru Graham Williams (@1.30pm Sat), renowned landscape architect , Michael Bligh (@11.30am Sun), water scientist, Peter Hazell (@12.30 Sun) and Senior Australian of the Year and Australian National Children’s Laureate Jackie French (@1.30pm Sun)
- Art show featuring works by local artists Julian Laffan, Kate Carruthers, Lizzie Hall, Kate Stevens, Mark Sullivan
- Devonshire teas in the Woolshed Cafe (proceeds to St Bedes Primary Braidwood)
- BBQ and other refreshments (proceeds to the Men’s Shed Braidwood)
- Paydirt eatery street stall, read the write up about this asian fusion restaurant in the good food guide
- Pony rides (10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 2.30pm each day)
- Face painting
- A mix of garden related exhibitors including: Tablelands trees and shrubs, Kerry Mitchell’s Nursery in a Garden, Innovative Metalworx, Iron Style, Garlicious Grown
Attractions at the other gardens:
- Guided tours of Bedervale Homestead and its rare collection of National Trust listed furniture and contents (on the hour each day, tours take approximately 1 hour and proceeds go to the Homestead owners)
- Guided tours of the productive gardens at Wynlen House (on the hour each day, tour proceeds to garden owners)
Do you have a mud map of where the properties and stalls etc are please?
It all looks so lovely but we might be short on time….so would like to know how to plan ahead with a map in hand….
